Pismo Beach seeking volunteers to serve on boards and commissions

Pismo Beach city officials are seeking eight volunteers to serve on volunteer boards and commissions starting in February.

All positions, except for an opening on the Traffic Safety Advisory Committee, would serve through February 2014. The traffic committee seat runs through February 2013. The openings include:

• Three seats on the Conference and Visitors Bureau, which meets the third Wednesday of every month at 3 p.m.

• Two seats on the Parking Advisory Committee, which meets the fourth Wednesday of every month at 10 a.m.

• Two seats on the Planning Commission, which meets the second and fourth Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

• One seat on the Traffic Safety Advisory Committee, which meets the second Monday of each month at 10:30 a.m.
