For the fourth year in a row, Cal Poly has made Forbes magazine's list of the countrys best colleges and universities.
Cal Poly ranked No. 9 among Californias public universities. Like last year, Cal Poly was named the top-ranked California State University campus on the list.
Cal Poly appeared at No. 28 among the 50 private and public universities and at No. 230 overall among the 610 U.S. campuses on the list.
The rankings focus on matters concerning undergraduate students. Those include interesting courses, speed of graduation, job prospects, and how much debt students rack up.
The magazine used students evaluations of courses and instructors, post-graduate success, estimated average student debt after graduation and graduation rates among its assessments.
