Motorists in San Luis Obispo can expect up to 10-minute delays in the morning and early afternoon hours next week as crews close the far right lane on westbound Madonna Road at the Highway 101 overpass.
The closure is planned for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. The on/off ramps to northbound Highway 101 and the entrance to the Madonna Inn will remain open.
The project includes the removal of three monitoring wells. The work will be done by URS Corp., an engineering company in Santa Barbara, under a Caltrans permit.
Traffic controls will be in place to help motorists travel through the site.
