Officials are attempting to identify any victims of a man who allegedly placed a hidden camera in various restrooms in July.
Jacob Allen Imel, 32, of San Luis Obispo is being investigated by the Sheriff's Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement unit (SAFE) for placing a camera disguised as a key fob in the unisex bathroom of the Woods Humane Society.
According to Rob Bryn of the Sheriffs Department, a visitor noticed suspicious activity and informed Woods staff, who immediately called the Sheriff's Department. None of the images recovered portray the Woods bathroom, Bryn said. Several of the images discovered also portray the image of a child under 12, but not at the Woods location, he added.
Imel is also accused of attempting to film under the skirt of the child in another, unidentified location.
A search of Imel's computer files revealed suspected child pornography, Bryn said in the release.
Anyone who may have had contact with the suspect is asked to call the SAFE team at 781-4500.
