The Grover Beach Police Department has released a computerized sketch of a man who was involved in a home-invasion robbery, kidnapping and carjacking in Grover Beach on Tuesday.
According to police, the robber is a white male adult in his late 30s to early 40s, 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet tall and was "scruffy looking." He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
The man reportedly entered an unlocked residence in the 400 block of Manhattan Ave. in Grover Beach around 6 a.m. Tuesday. According to police reports, he brandished a gun and demanded cash from the male victim, then ordered him to drive the robber away from the home in the victims black, 2006 Hummer H3. The vehicle's license plate number is 5WSS953.
Once on Highway 166, the robber forced the victim out of the vehicle at gunpoint, then drove east on 166.
