United Way of San Luis Obispo County has announced its leadership for the coming year.
New officers include: President Wade OHagan, controller at SJL Broadcast Management Corp.; Immediate Past President/Secretary Candy Markwith, CEO at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center; Treasurer Lance Parker, financial adviser at Securities America; Vice President-Community Impact Carla Berkefeld, CPA at Glenn Burdette; and Vice President-Resource Development Char Storlie, Central Coast division manager at The Mortgage House.
New directors include: Kathleen Choal, president/general manager at television station KSBY; community volunteer Christine Johnson; Alexis Okumura, partner at First Impressions in Design; and Sheriff Ian Parkinson.
Continuing directors include: Penny Borenstein, health officer/public health administrator at county Public Health Department; Patrick Holcomb, senior vice president at Bank of America; Hans Poschman, district representative for state Sen. Sam Blakeslee; and John Lindsey, corporate relations representative at PG&E.
Continuing directors emeriti are longtime volunteers Frank Fertschneider and Thomas Sullivan.
