A Morro Bay man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of raping a woman at a park in Cambria.

Hans Steinmann, 45, was arrested by the Sheriffs Department Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement unit. The alleged rape happened around 10 p.m. Aug. 5 at Shamel Park in Cambria, authorities said.
The victim was an acquaintance of Steinmann's, according to authorities.
Detectives interviewed Steinmann and booked him into County Jail on Thursday.
