Arroyo Grande City Council. Meets Tuesday. 473-5400. Consider scheduling joint meeting with the Grover Beach City Council to discuss whether to merge the two cities’ police services; decide whether to keep the Arroyo Grande Redevelopment Agency.

Atascadero City Council. Meets Tuesday. 461-5000. Presentation by Central Coast Zoological Society to create a proposed tax district that would help finance the Charles Paddock Zoo; proposed ordinance that would maintain the Atascadero Redevelopment Agency.

Grover Beach Planning Commission. Meets Tuesday. 473-4520. Request to construct an addition to a two-story single-family home on Ocean View Avenue; request for one-year extension of plans to develop a 134-room hotel at 950 El Camino Real.

Los Osos Community Services District Board of Directors. Meets Thursday. 528-9370. Selection of a board vice president and a review of the fiscal year 2011-12 budget.

Morro Bay City Council. Meets Tuesday. 772-6200. Whether to award a contract to Rarig Construction of San Luis Obispo for $3.8 million to construct the office and living quarters portion of the fire station using grants, loans and sales tax revenue.

Oceano Community Services District Board of Directors. Meets Wednesday. 481-6730. Draft 2011-12 budget; request from Arroyo Grande to change its temporary water purchase agreement with the district.

Paso Robles Planning Commission. Meets Tuesday. 237-3888. Request to relocate a 78-unit hotel on property at 3700 Mill Road and add an outdoor amphitheater and other buildings at the Vina Robles hospitality center.

Pismo Beach Planning Commission. Meets Tuesday. 773-4658. Continued public hearing on modifying policies in the city’s land use element, a part of its general plan that regulates what kinds of development are allowed.

San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors. Meets Tuesday. 781-5011. Final vote on two-story, 4,555-square-foot house proposed for a bluff above the Pacific Ocean in Cayucos; hearing on whether to eliminate crosswalks on Los Osos Valley Road at Bush Drive and Avila Beach Drive at San Miguel Street; hearing about rent increases at Porticos Mobile Home Park in Oceano.

  • Stay on topic. Only post comments relevant to the article at hand. If you want to discuss an issue with a specific user, click on his profile name and leave him a public message.
  • Do not copy and paste outside material into the comment box.
  • Don't repeat the same comment over and over. We heard you the first time.
  • Do not use the commenting system for advertising. That's spam and it isn't allowed.
  • Don't use all capital letters. That's akin to yelling and not appreciated by the audience.
