UPDATE 6 p.m. Tuesday:
The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff-Coroner on Tuesday identified the man killed in an alleged drunken-driving crash near Oceano on Saturday as David Williams, 26 of London.
It's believed Williams was on a charity ride from Los Angeles to New York for Find Your Feet, a UK-based charity aimed at decreasing poverty. Williams was on his way to San Francisco.
He did a similar ride in 2008 from London to Istanbul for the same charity. Williams died at Arroyo Grande Community Hospital, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Aaron Richard Ceja, 20, of Nipomo, accused of driving drunk and causing the crash, remained listed in custody at the San Luis Obispo County Jail as of late Tuesday, where he is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
UPDATE: A Sheriff's Department official said today that it will take 48 to 72 hours to release the name of the cyclist. Relatives live in Great Britain and local authorities have to work through the British consulate to locate them.

Authorities say that a suspected drunken driver killed a British man who was riding a bicycle along Halcyon Road near Oceano late Saturday.
Aaron Richard Ceja, 20, of Nipomo, was driving north “at a high rate of speed” along Halcyon when he lost control of his 1999 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer near Mountain View Road just before 8 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Mountain View is a dirt road off the west side of Halcyon at the foot of the hill toward Highway 1.
The Blazer struck the southbound cyclist, whom the CHP described only as a 26-year-old man from London. His name was not disclosed because authorities haven’t notified his next of kin.
The cyclist died at Arroyo Grande Community Hospital, according to the CHP. Ceja reportedly suffered major injuries in the crash.
He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and causing injury, as well as vehicular manslaughter, the CHP reported.
Ceja remained listed in custody at the San Luis Obispo County Jail as of late Sunday, where he is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
