Atascadero Planning Commission. Meets Tuesday. 461-5000. Proposed oak tree removal at 8955 Montecito Ave.; permit request for accessory structure and garage at 9205 San Marcos Road.

Arroyo Grande Planning Commission. Meets Tuesday. 473-5420. Consider subdividing 2.81 acres into 11 lots, renovating an existing commercial building for use as a neighborhood market and constructing two new commercial buildings totaling 3,300 square feet at 303 E. Branch St.

Grover Beach City Council. Meets today. 473-4567. Options for merging public safety dispatch services with other South County communities; consider sending letter to California Public Utilities Commission outlining some concerns about PG&E SmartMeters; overview from South San Luis Obispo County Sanitation District administrator on plant operations and recent concerns raised about them.

Lucia Mar Unified School District Board of Education. Meets Tuesday. 474-3000. Annual report on revenue from developer fees, a form of tax on new construction; initial proposal for contract talks with the teachers union; consider extending Superintendent Jim Hogeboom’s employment contract from July 1, 2011, through June 30, 2015.

Paso Robles City Council. Meets Tuesday. 237-3888. San Luis Obispo County Housing Trust Fund request for a $7,500 grant; termination of the current Mid-Day Shuttle service; top goals for fiscal years 2012-15.

Pismo Beach City Council. Meets Tuesday. 773-7003. Pismo Creek Estuary enhancement project update; agreement with Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County to administer the Redevelopment Agency’s home-improvement program; update on areas outside city limits expected to be annexed in the future; status report on paid parking downtown; status report for project to move utility lines underground on Shell Beach Road and Price Street.

San Luis Obispo City Council. Meets Tuesday. Proposed nighttime curfew for minors; employee input on proposed ballot measures that would make major union contract and pension reforms; continued discussion on city budget; public hearing on a proposed land-use change for three properties on the north side of Calle Joaquin.

San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors. Meets Tuesday. 781-5011. Appeal of the Planning Commission’s approval of Sun Power’s proposed California Valley Solar Ranch conditional use permit and certification of the final environmental impact report; bid opening report for construction contract for the new Creston Fire Station 43; submission of a bid opening report for Mission Street Enhancements Phase III in San Miguel.

San Luis Obispo County Planning Commission. Meets today. Continued hearing on solar power station proposed by Topaz Solar Farm LLC on about 3,500 acres in the Carrizo Plain.

  • Don't use all capital letters. That's akin to yelling and not appreciated by the audience.
