Atascadero City Council. Meets Tuesday. 461-5000. $3.7 million contract in the planned Historic City Hall Project; reduce water use at city parks by 15 percent; city’s blueprint for housing growth.

Arroyo Grande City Council. Meets Tuesday. 473-5400. Consider purchase and sale agreement between city and Arroyo Grande Redevelopment Agency for the existing police building for future low-income housing use and a lease for the continued use of the building by police for up to five years; proposed changes to regulations over temporary banners and signs.

Grover Beach Planning Commission. Meets Tuesday. 473-4568. Request for a time extension for a development permit previously approved to construct a four-unit, two-story residential apartment building at 1263 Mentone Ave.

Oceano Community Services District board of directors. Meets Wednesday. 481-6730. Nominate new president and vice president of the board; cash and investment report; discuss 2011-12 budget, including a new water main and new roof for the services district building.

Paso Robles Planning Commission. Meets Tuesday. 237-3888. Expand existing La Quinta Hotel by 37 rooms at 2615 Buena Vista Drive; refile application plans for a mini-storage facility at 2371 Theater Drive; update the city’s procedures for complying with the California Environmental Quality Act.

Pismo Beach Planning Commission. Meets Tuesday. 773-4658. Continued public hearing for repair of an existing seawall at 2054 Ocean Blvd.

San Luis Obispo City Council. Meets Tuesday. 781-7100. Conceptual approval of majority city goals for the 2011-13 two-year budget; conceptual approval of the plan to cut $4.4 million from the 2011-13 two-year budget.

San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors. Meets Tuesday. 781-5011. County parks budget; letter to PG&E asking the utility to stop its relicensing process at the Diablo Canyon nuclear power plant until seismic studies have been completed; agreement between county, Air Pollution Control District and State Parks to reduce particulate matter at the Oceano Dunes.

San Luis Obispo County Planning Commission. Meets Thursday. 781-5600. 31-unit senior care facility on 1.26-acre parcel in Cambria between Londonderry, Green and Ardath streets; wireless communications facility on 20-foot-tall monopine south of Las Tablas Road and west of Bethel Road in Templeton; permit for Jack’s Helping Hand universal access facility on Illinois Avenue on the Nipomo Mesa bluff in Nipomo; amending county residential vacation rental ordinance.

  • Do not copy and paste outside material into the comment box.
  • Don't repeat the same comment over and over. We heard you the first time.
  • Do not use the commenting system for advertising. That's spam and it isn't allowed.
  • Don't use all capital letters. That's akin to yelling and not appreciated by the audience.
