The Pismo Beach Police Department will conduct training at Judkins Middle School while school is out of session for spring break today and Friday.
The department will simulate response to an active shooter on campus. All officers from Pismo Beach Police will participate in the training.
Pismo Beach Police want local residents living near the middle school to be aware the drill is just a training situation.
