A 37-year-old Grover Beach man has been arrested on suspicion of child molestation, according to the Grover Beach Police Department.

Jesse M. Miller was arrested early Thursday morning on suspicion of lewd acts with a child and sexual penetration with a foreign object. The alleged victim was 14, according to police.

The department was notified by the Arroyo Grande Police Department that they’d received a report of a child molestation incident that occurred in Grover Beach.

Miller allegedly molested the victim over the course of two months, said Lt. John Peters of the Grover Beach Police Department.

The two police departments worked together to conduct an investigation into the allegations and served a search warrant at the 900 block of Savanna Court in Grover Beach.

Evidence related to the accusations led to Miller’s arrest, Grover Beach police said.

Miller is currently in custody in County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.

The investigation is ongoing, Peters said.
