Deputies were searching the area around Los Berros Road between El Campo and Stanton roads near Nipomo on Sunday after a reported armed robbery nearby, according to the Sheriff’s Department.
Just after 4 p.m. three men reportedly robbed another at gunpoint along that stretch of Los Berros.
The three masked robbers confronted the man, speaking to him in Spanish, taking cash and a cell phone before running way toward Highway 101, according to a Sheriff’s Department report.
