A man picks weeds on a clear day from the flowers in a field on Los Osos Valley Road. Warm, sunny weather continues today, though winds will shift later this afternoon and usher fog back toward the coast, local forecaster John Lindsey said.
Fog will make its way back to San Luis Obispo overnight, making for a cool start to Friday.
Highs in San Luis Obispo will be in the mid-80s today, and Paso Robles should reach 98.
Cooler temperatures are expected along the coastline over the Labor Day weekend, Lindsey said, but the North County will remain in the high 90s.
Below-normal daytime highs will occur Monday and Tuesday at the coast as an area of low pressure skirts the county.
