San Luis Obispo County Sheriffs deputies have made one arrest in connection with a slew of auto burglaries and thefts in the San Miguel area.
Donald William Kimble was arrested Aug. 29 on suspicion of possessing stolen property, unlawful use of personal identification and theft of a bank access card, all felonies.
He remains in County Jail on a parole hold.
Deputies believe Kimble, 57, used a stolen ATM card from one of the vehicle burglaries, according to Sheriffs Department spokesman Rob Bryn.
In a separate incident, deputies discovered a purse under a trailer at the Casa Blanca Mobile Home Park in San Miguel, which had been previously stolen from an undisclosed location; money and additional items in the purse were recovered.
In a third case, deputies are attempting to identify the owner of two wooden sculptures a bear smoking a pipe, and a curled-up wolf found on a North County street.
Its unknown whether the items were stolen or lost. Anyone with information can call North Station Cmdr. Ben Hall at 434-4290.
