The National Weather Service warns that surf is expected to build along some Central Coast beaches because of the after effects of last weeks strong South Pacific storm.
In a Coastal Flood Statement set to expire at 5 p.m. on Thursday, forecasters warn that longer-period swells are expected to arrive by Monday night, with wave heights building afterward.
