A pair of group campsites at Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park closed for years because of a waterline break will reopen Friday, State Parks announced today.
Only tent camping is allowed at the sites in a redwood area of the park across the highway from its main entrance. Up to 35 people are allowed at each site for a fee of $150 per night. Dogs are not allowed.
