Alexandria Wisberg, 15, was the queen of the 86th annual Cayucos Portuguese Celebration, which was held at the Cayucos Veterans Memorial Lions Hall, with events both Saturday and Sunday. Wisbergs great- great-grandfather was a founder of the event in the early 1920s. The celebration honors Queen Isabel of Portugal, who sold her jewelry to help feed the poor during hard times in the 13th century. The popular queen would crown a young village girl queen for a day.
