An Atascadero resident was arrested on suspicion of felony attempted murder in an apparent domestic violence incident in Paso Robles.
At approximately 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, the Paso Robles Police Department received multiple 911 calls reporting that a shooting had just occurred on Green Court near the Paso Robles Golf Club.
Officers found a man and a woman with gunshot wounds that were not life-threatening. They were transported to local hospitals.
As a result of the investigation, 32-year-old Atascadero resident Troy Allen Sykes was arrested at the hospital and booked into County Jail on two counts of attempted murder, police said. He remained there Wednesday morning in lieu of posting $1 million bail.
Since police believe the shooting is related to domestic violence, authorities declined to give further details on what happened, nor would they state the victims name.
Investigators with the Paso Robles Police Department, the District Attorneys Office and county Sheriffs Department were collecting evidence as of Wednesday morning, police said.
