A fire that burned about a half-acre of brush in Templeton before being contained led to the temporary closure of nearby train tracks.
The fire was first reported at 2:40 p.m. at 575 South Main Street near Fifth Street, according to Cal Fire.

The fire was contained at 3:24 p.m.
Southern Pacific Railroad officials were at the scene, according to Cal Fire, and would reopen the tracks once firefighters had finished mopping up.
No additional information, including the cause of the fire, was immediately available.
