Daria Mussack, 71, of San Luis Obispo was pulled from her Honda at 2 p.m. Friday after her car collided with a Goodwill truck and then struck a utility pole at the intersection of Broad Street and Industrial Way.
Mussack was taken to French Hospital Medical Center to be treated for moderate injuries including lacerations.
Emergency personnel used extrication equipment to remove Mussack. The Goodwill truck driver, John Todd, 60, of Oceano, was uninjured.
Police said Mussack, driving north on Broad Street, ran a red light at Industrial Way and clipped the front of the truck, which was making a left turn from southbound Broad Street. Police do not suspect alcohol or drugs to be involved.
