Electricity was knocked out about a half hour in parts of southern San Luis Obispo, and Tank Farm Road was closed for several hours after a driver crashed his car into a power pole Wednesday afternoon.
A driver in his 20s drifted to the side of the road and struck the pole, San Luis Obispo Police Department Sgt. Jeff Booth said. Police arrested the driver on suspicion of drunken driving and driving with a suspended license after he was treated at French Hospital Medical Center for minor injuries.
