Project Surf Camp, a local nonprofit organization that introduces people with disabilities to surfing and other ocean activities, will be highlighted on the "Today" show Thursday morning.
A crew from the NBC television show shot footage of the camp last Friday in Morro Bay.
John Taylor -- a Paso Robles special-education teacher who was born with only one leg-- founded Project Surf Camp in 2006 to reach out to local children.
Volunteer special-education teachers, surf instructors, and when needed, specialists trained in disabilities such as autism, work one-on-one with kids to introduce them to the water.
