Three North County residents were arrested Thursday in connection with a rash of thefts from unlocked vehicles along Studio Drive and Ocean Boulevard in Cayucos.
County sheriffs deputies and Morro Bay police said they want to hear from people in Cayucos who may be missing items stolen recently from their vehicles.
Morro Bay police arrested Kevin Porter, 20, of Creston, who was charged with theft with prior conviction, possession of stolen property and receiving stolen property; and Katrina Neil, 21, and Cayetano Contreras, also 21, both of Paso Robles, who were each charged with receiving stolen property, according to sheriff's Cmdr. Ben Hall.
Hall said Morro Bay police did the investigation and now want to return stolen items to their owners.
Residents of Morro Bay should call the police at 772-6225; others should call the Sheriffs Department at 781-4550.
