Two North County men have been arrested in connection with a string of residential burglaries around the county.
William Paul Paige, 40 of Atascadero, was named as a suspect by detectives from the San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles police departments, who were working together to investigate several residential burglaries that had taken place in both cities.
On March 12, Paige was located in Atascadero and allegedly had numerous stolen items and burglary tools in his possession, according to police. He was arrested and booked into County Jail on suspicion of first degree burglary, possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools and warrants. Bail was set at $61,500. He was still in jail as of Tuesday.
Larry Harvey, 19 of Paso Robles, was with Paige when he was arrested, according to police. Harvey allegedly had stolen property that linked him to a number of residential burglaries, and also allegedly had burglary tools and a dangerous weapon. He was booked into County Jail on suspicion of first degree burglary, possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools and possession of a dangerous weapon. Bail was set at $20,000. He remained in jail Tuesday.
