The eighth annual Coast Passing Tournament is set for Friday, June 18, and Saturday, June 19 – featuring high school teams from the surrounding area of California.
The “Trench Wars Lineman’s Competition” is held at 2 p.m. on the north side of the Cayucos Pier on Friday—always a popular event involving muscles, brute force, sand, sun and grit, with a host of onlookers cheering.

On Saturday the “Passing Tournament” takes place at Coast Union at 9 a.m. The Trench Wars Lineman’s event is $75 per team and the Passing Tournament is $125 per team.
