Spring is definitely here and the baseball season is upon us. In Cambria, baseball isn’t just for Little Leaguers and the Coast Union High School Broncos. It’s for the little guys too, ages 4-1/2 to 8 years, who enjoy playing TBall and Coach Pitch.
If your son or daughter would like to play T-Ball or Coach Pitch this spring, now is the time to get signed up, according to Gary Stephenson (924-1100), coordinator for the programs. The season begins Saturday, March 27, in Cambria. All the games are played at the lower field at the Cambria Grammar School.
One T-Ball practice and one TBall game will be conducted each week. Likewise, one Coach Pitch practice and one Coach Pitch game will be played each week. The coaches will determine the practice day but all games are on Saturday mornings.
Coach Pitch games (beginning March 27) will be played at 9 a.m. each Saturday and T-Ball games (beginning March 27) will go on the Cambria Grammar School field at 10 a.m.
Stephenson told The Cambrian that these games are “a lot of fun” because “parents root for all the kids—not just their own children.” He added, “For those who come to watch the games there is no way they can leave without a smile on their faces.”
To enroll your child, call Stephenson at 924-1100.
