Central Valley Christian beats Mission Prep in CIF boys basketball game

FRESNO — Mission Prep gave up a late 24-10 run and fell to Central Valley Christian 53-37 today in the CIF-Central Section Division V boys basketball championship game at Selland Arena.

The Royals (13-16) also lost to the Cavaliers (25-4) in last year's Division V championship game.

Mission Prep trimmed an early 16-point Central Valley Christian lead to 29-27 in the third quarter before the Cavaliers went on the game-deciding run.
