Missing Tucson toddler found in San Luis Obispo with her mother

February 12, 2010

A 2-year-old girl reported missing from Tucson three months ago was found in San Luis Obispo on Wednesday, authorities report.

The girl’s mother, Adellyn Sewell, 27, was taken into custody on a felony warrant charging her with custodial interference, according to the City of Tucson Police Department. She remained in county jail Friday, according the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Department Web site.

The girl’s father, who has sole custody of the child, expected her mother to return the child to him on Nov. 14. The child was in good health and with her mother, who reportedly has family in the area, when found, police said.
