John Lindsey, a local weather forecaster, reports that the storms that rolled through on Friday and today produced between 1 and 2 inches of rain in the coastal valleys with lesser amounts in the interior.

He notes that during the month of February, San Luis Obispo normally receives a total of nearly 5 inches of rain.

As reported by Lindsey, here are some of the area's 48 hour rain totals as of 3 p.m. on Saturday:

Davis Peak, near Avila Beach ............ 1.5 inches

Rocky Butte, near San Simeon............. 2.8 inches

Los Osos................................. 0.9 inches

San Luis Obispo Airport.................. 1.0 inches

PG&E Energy Education Center ............ 1.7 inches

Camp San Luis .......................... 1.5 inches

SLOWeather.com........................... 2.1 inches

Atascadero .............................. 0.6 inches

Santa Margarita ......................... 1.1 inches

Nipomo East.............................. 0.9 inches

Paso Robles Airport ..................... 0.7 inches

Vandenberg Air Force Base................ 1.1 inches
