Several community organizations will be offering free Christmas meals today and Friday for the homeless or needy.San Luis ObispoThe Prado Day Center will be closed on Christmas, but will offer regular meal services today, including breakfast at 8:30 a.m. and lunch at 12:30 p.m. St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church will offer a Christmas breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Friday. 1344 Nipomo St., San Luis Obispo. 543-7212.The Maxine Lewis Memorial shelter will serve lunch at noon on Christmas Day. 750 Orcutt Road, San Luis Obispo. 781-3993.In an effort supported by many local organizations, including the Cal Poly Community Center, the Jewish Community Center, and Sierra Vista Medical Center, a dinner will be served at 5 p.m. Friday at Oddfellows Hall, 520 Dana St., in San Luis Obispo. Entertainment will be provided, as well as care packages for the homeless.
