A display of public art erected on the corner of 10th and Pine streets in Paso Robles this week exhibits Chumash pictographs and holographic images.

“It’s a combination of something really primitive and high-tech,” said building owner Coralie McMillan of Shandon, who commissioned the work from Santa Fe artist August Muth.

McMillan is looking for public input on a title for the piece, and those interested can e-mail icmcmillan@tscn.net. “I think I want it to symbolize inner peace,” she added.
