Cuesta College President David Pelham has resigned from his role to lead another college in Abu Dhabi, a city in the United Arab Emirates along the Persian Gulf.
Pelham, Cuesta's fifth president since 1964, announced his departure in an e-mail to the community college's e-mail users on Monday evening. His last day will be in the end of December, he said in the note to students, faculty and staff. He notified board president Pat Mullen on Sunday.
