All three San Luis Obispo County high school football teams that made the CIF-Southern Section playoffs received tough draws in the first round in playoff pairings announced Sunday.

Atascadero, Arroyo Grande and Nipomo high schools all play on the road in the first round, and face likely matchups with one of the division’s top four seeds in the second round should they win.

Atascadero (7-3), which finished second in the PAC 7, will travel to Buena (8-2) in Ventura on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

The Bulldogs finished second in the Channel League, and are led by quarterback Robert Munoz, who has thrown for 2,129 yards with 21 touchdowns and five interceptions this season. His top target has been receiver Tyler Perry, who has 40 receptions and seven scores this year.

Should the Greyhounds win the game, the winner of the Valencia-Thousand Oaks game would await them. Valencia (10-0) is the No. 1 seed in the Southern Section’s Northern Division.

Arroyo Grande (7-3), the PAC 7 No. 3, will play at Camarillo (9-1) in its first round playoff game Friday at 7:30 p.m.

The Scorpions won the Pacific View League and are led by quarterback Jeff Matthews, who has 2,560 yards passing with 31 touchdowns and five interceptions this season. He’s thrown six touchdown passes in each of his last two games, including a 588-yard performance against Hueneme on Nov. 6. Receiver Ryan Molesworth has 50 receptions and 13 touchdowns this year, and running back Ossie Toc has 898 yards rushing and 13 touchdowns.

An Eagles victory would put them in the second round and a matchup with the winner of Moorpark (9-1) and Canyon (2-8). Moorpark finished second in the Marmonte League and is the Northern Division’s No. 4 seed.

Los Padres League No. 3 Nipomo (7-3) will travel to Los Angeles to play Verbum Dei (6-4) on Friday at 7:30 p.m. The Eagles won the Camino Real League and are led by running back Anthony Charles, who has 1,341 yards rushing and seven touchdowns this season. Receiver Fred Edison has only 22 catches, but nine are for touchdowns.

If the Titans win, their second-round opponent would be the winner of the Serra (10-0)-Oak Park (4-6) game. Serra won the Del Rey League and is the No. 2 seed in the Northwest Division.
