The Sheriff's Department has identified the man who died after a crash on Highway 41 near Creston as 18-year-old Lee Williams of Paso Robles.

Williams was killed when the 1990 Honda Civic he was driving crossed the southbound lane and went into a culvert just south of Cripple Creek Road about 8 a.m., according to the CHP.

Williams appeared to be dead when emergency responders arrived on the scene, according to the CHP.

The area was very foggy at the time of the crash.
