Walk north along the bluff at Montaña de Oro, stopping to draw or photograph the plants or a seascape. No drawing experience necessary. Meet in Montaña de Oro State Park at the end of Pecho Road in the Coon Creek parking lot. (M) 2 miles, 2.5-3 hours. • Discover Treasures of Montaña de Oro. 1 p.m. Monday. Tour the Spooner Ranch House and Holloway Garden, see some of the park and hunt for wildflowers on the Reservoir Flats Trail. Meet at the Visitor Center, Montaña de Oro State Park. Coastal scrub, rugged shoreline and rocky inlets provide a seasonally changing experience of diverse bird and plant species along with land and marine mammals.   • Stay on topic. Only post comments relevant to the article at hand. If you want to discuss an issue with a specific user, click on his profile name and leave him a public message.
  • Do not copy and paste outside material into the comment box.
  • Don't repeat the same comment over and over. We heard you the first time.
  • Do not use the commenting system for advertising. That's spam and it isn't allowed.
  • Don't use all capital letters. That's akin to yelling and not appreciated by the audience.
